Program Overview

Our comprehensive program combines economic analysis with advanced quantitative methods to prepare students for analytical and management positions in a variety of industries. Students have pursued careers in finance and banking, economic and business forecasting, macroeconomics, and monetary policy, public finance, and cost/benefit analysis, as well as economic modeling and simulations. Some have even gone on to pursue their doctoral degree in Economics or Finance. The Master of Science degree program in Economics features a curriculum that is flexible yet thorough in its approach to theoretical training and applied course work.

STEM Designated

The M.S. Economics program is a designated STEM program allowing for a total of 29 months of OPT.
